Thanks guys. A lot of thought went into those drawers and slide out bench. We ran out of the aluminium stripping on top of the drawers and bench... another excuse for a beer with mates
Credit goes mainly to my mate who once he understood what hairbrained idea I was banging on about, had to make it a reality with our help... poor bugger.

I'm with you Drew, that's how I am thinking about mine too. I need this car to last the next 10-20 years at least otherwise I'll be left with a car and no wife... hmmm... having said that :0

The power outlet in the drawers is a Baintech GU control panel and was picked up at patrolapart in lilydale, Vic.
Looks like there a couple of stockists in WA as well. From memory it was around $130-150. Well worth it. 1merit socket, 2 12v cigi sockets and an engel socket.
