Canvas Ute Canopies
hey fellas Ive been looking into them for little while and im really interested in getting a canopy made up. does anyone else here have one made? any tips on ideas on what makes a great canvas canopy. i found that not too many mobs specialize in canvas stuff up here yet i see heaps in utes!
heres a pic out of 4wd action of a design id like with the tent on top.

Legendary
Canvas Ute Canopies
I had one on mine got rid of it as it acted like a sail in strong winds and being a NA TD42 it struggled a bit in headwinds on the freeway. Go for a pod or fibreglass IMO
Just tap it in just tappy tappy tappy

If you have the skills make the frame yourself ,or get a fab shop to do it , then off to a marine trimmer as they are normally well skilled in getting the the covers nice and tight ,

I reckon $840 sounds pretty reasonable for the canvas if you mean made up rather than just the material.

No worries mate!
yeah $840 aint bad, i paid $1000 thats with awning and fly screens all round! its 12oz ripstop canvas, lady in bendigo vic done it for me!
i wanted mine to be removable too, it takes me bout 15 mins now to take the frame and canvas on/off.
the drawers only go in for week plus trips!

Patrol God
Just saw a great set up on a Dualcab something, at first I thought was a dual cab GU but no
What was on the tray made it stick out. To me it looked like an T van only no trailer part.
Black in colour looked pricey but looked good ,well built, Hoist off onto frame when not required
