Hi mate, moved this into the trips and treks section rather than the GU Patrol category.

There's heaps of beautiful camping spots just over to the south of bridge at Wee Jasper. Billy Grace (hot showers), Fitzpatrick(no showers), Micalong Creek(cols shower) and Careys are the camping spots.
My favorite is Micalong as its right on the river and there's lots of flat grassy ground. There is a great mountain climb(walking) and it gets pretty hairy at times with ropes to help in some spots. Great for kids and adults. Give yourself 2-3 hours and take water!
There's a fee of 7 bucks per night from memory and that's if the ranger shows up.

Lots of good driving but you'd have to travel a bit to get to some decent tracks at the back of Brindabella but well worth it.

    Great fishing in Lake Burrinjuck!!!
