4.8 exhaust fumes

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that their 4.8 smells quite fumey after having an aftermarket exhaust fitted ( hiflow cat etc ) kinda stings the eyes

It does blow a small amount of black smoke when I am up it, but gets decent economy etc and no smoke when driven normally

does it also smell a little bit like rotten eggs, if so its completely normal. Its just the cat converter doing its job.

New exhausts have a funny smell to them when first used but I goes away after a little while. I had a funny smell after putting a new exhaust on my gq diesel but its. Gone after 2 weeks
