You wicked beast - you are tempting me I reckon! The flares look great. My concern is mostly the cracking of the paint when you bend the guard - how did that work out for you? The other thing is my terminal cruising rpm as the chevs can easily bog down and produce even crappier economy than when running at lower revs - not that i am too worried about economy mind you. Its kind of a natural progression I reckon.

I used a heat gun to warm the paint up but it still cracked a little. I masked it up and put some Killrust paint on it before fitting the flares.

Advanced
[QUOTE=Winnie;769194]Radiator would overflow but not suck back in. So would overflow the overflow bottle but I would top it up each time. Thought it was the radiator cap.
Very minor rear main seal leak.
Other than that it has never ran better.
Winnie
Just reading through your thread and about your engine demo
Where you mention the above experience with the coolant, we had a similar experience and just by luck I unscrewed the overflow bottle cap and looked at how it worked. I discovered that the hose from the radiator was connected to the wrong side of the cap and could never suck coolant back in as the engine cooled.
If you remove and have a look at the cap you will see what I mean.
Fortunately we never demoed our engine.
Cheers
Trevor
