    TB42 carby tune?

    G'day everyone.
Just a quick one, ive cleaned out my idle jet and my mate put it back on the car for me but he didn't have the hoses connected and played with the idle, mixture and choke! (good one ay). I have connected all the hoses but now my petrol/gas 89 model is not starting very well and blowing a huge amount of smoke. I have had a go at tuning it but to no avail. Is there some way i can get a starting point to work from for both the idle and mixture? Im starting to think by chance that my gasket may have s#*t its self?

    This carby is killing me!!

    Cheers

    Mixture screw 2 turns out.
dont over tighten mix screw first, can damage tip and will never tune well afterwards.
    Set idle at 650 + - 50.
Adjust timing for lpg I assume, say 15 deg.
choke, you'll notice a mark on choke cover black plastic between the words rich and lean, and also a mark on alloy mating surface, default choke setting they line up.
see how that goes from there.
    cheers
