    The Taj-Mahal for the Rabbits..

The story starts out with my little sister having 2 Males Rabbits and they both went missing but only found 1 so mum being mum got her another one which was to young to tell the sex of and of course turns out to be a girl.. Mum went to get one snipped and it's around 200 - 300 dollars to do so I said I'd build her a split cage if she buys me a welder and RHS for it. Best deal I ever made I reckon; and with my Staff discount at work it was a lot cheaper than desexing the rabbits and I gained a nice little Arc!

(Not finished yet last picture is of the cage upside down)

Sorry for so many happy snaps but everyone loves pictures!

The chook wire is just for the floor to stop them digging out and will be covered with hay, that picture is the cage upside down. For the walls we had some random panels laying around so that's why the cage is built with sections that the panels fits into and is then wired and cable tied into place.

Yeh I have a Purebred Jack Russel that will take on dogs 4x it's size yet plays with the rabbits and would never harm them, go figure..

As for the honeymoon haha I allowed for some cuddle time in the closed off area using mesh instead of a solid wall, just hope they don't get freakily too creative

My Jack Russell Alfie is trained for rabbits and he once grabbed a small fluffy puppy for a brief moment because he thought it was a rabbit.

To think the thousand or so rabbits I have shot as they are a plague on this country and then you go to the pet shop and buy them.....????

My dog will live with all animals including our chickens and ducks but as soon as he sees a rabbit it game on!!!

    Rabbit yum yum!!!!
