    Tent Maintenance - Before and after a trip

    What does everyone do for tent maintenance before and after a trip???

    Like what's the best way to clean it..... etc???

    Set it up in your back yard and spray with water and let it dry, this allows the stitching to shrink so needle holes are not as large. could buy a can of scotch bright and do seams wax helps too. Also when you get home set it out to air dry out and sweep grit out. .Should last for years

    I never do anything before a trip. But my wife the clean freak she is, wipes down the entire interior of the tent, the out side we don't do much except dust off.
    Although my last tent is no longer a tent after several accident using a tent peg remover.
    I accidentally put a hole near the door when pissed trying to get in one night a few trips back, which I bush repaired.
    Gaffs tape. 100mm wide.
    But then the zip shit itself. So I went on a rampage. It was quite therapeutic for me and the Missus.
    2011 GU8 ST 3.0 CRD, ARB Bullbar with IPF spotties, scrub bars and side steps, Snorkel, Dual Battery system, Waeco fridge, Turbo Timer, ARB Roof Rack with 5 IPF spotties across the front, Custom full Leather Bucket seats, DPchip, 3" Taipan exhaust, ARE Intercooler & scoop, Autron EGT/Boost and dual volt gauges, ARB front locker.
