Don`t really venture into Wales to be honest. Scotland is the wildlife haven over here really. So I tend to drift up there when I can.
It is now official, we are not quite so sh@t at cricket as we were! Rugby Union is a different matter.

True on the wildlife front there, I lived on the Gower peninsula for many years and used to go for a nice long drive over the Brecon Beacons to soak up the scenery.... Loved it.

You have a Canon 60D, so you can mate.
One from Abu Dhabi december 2011.Shooting into the sun is not recommended, but I wanted something different with the shadows and light coming at me.

We were down in Al Ain, never got near the big cities to be honest.
I tried changing your other pic, but the original looked better to be honest, so never bothered posting it.
This is one at the start of the saluki racing, guy in the middle looks like he is praying for a win.

The locals all chase the dogs around the track in 4x4s. I met a guy there who took me on a desert trip in his patrol. It was that which persuaded me to get a Patrol rather than another Hilux.

Ill have to look up where Al Ain is, cos i have no idea im afraid.
Yeh cool about the pic, its funny how cropping can change a picture so much (sometimes good, sometimes not so good) thanks for trying anyway.

I love the pics , i must admit i find the white words a little distracting for my first impression on those shots, (especially on the dark sand) as my eye is always drawn to this first before whats in the image.
So do you know if they are Greyhounds, or some other breed of dog ?

They are Salukis, arabian hunting dogs, like small greyhounds, very thin and very quick.
Any shots that I have sold or have for sale are watermarked mate, saves people pinching them, they can clone or crop it out, but they will know they have done that, I can prove they have done so, thus I can hit them with an unauthorised use invoice. It happens a lot to be honest. It is theft when all said and done.

I use Nikon, but other makes are just as good, the human input behind the camera makes the biggest difference to be honest. I guess my most used lenses are my 500 and 300mm F4 prime lenses.
