2007 Outback Challenge & Simpson Trip

What great photos. That looks to be a great trip to take. It is on my "to do" list. I just hope happens sooner rather than later.

Great pics buddy, looks like a great trip.
My boss spends a lot of time at the Silverton pub (X Broken hill boy).
He's Good mates with the owner or should I say previous owner, it has recently been sold.

I am an ex-Broken Hill boy too. Born there and lived there until I was 12 and then my family moved to sunny Qld. The house in the photo below (from the first page of this thread) is my great grand mother's old house. It is the one up the top of the hill past the pub on the right. Now an art gallery.

Definitely had lots of fun on the trip even though it did pour down for a lot of it. It was a drought breaker tour for sure.

Thats the one thanks, not the car i was remembering but when i said it flew ( I'm sure that one does 2 ), my mate has competed it a few of the outback challenges, I remember when he was working to the comp car one weekend and i called in to have a beer and he took me for a quick burn, the thing screamed, I remember when got back, he said you think your petrol guzzles the juice, u should of seen this thing suck thru it!
