RLI's Cape York travelling Wilburys tour August 2013!

G'day folks,

I wish I was going with you folks on this trip, however health issues have farked me.

However, the mission will go ahead without me and you folks as a group will have a life changing experience and many fantastic memories to share with family and friends over the years to come.

I am not going to desert you, i will be active in keeping in communications with you all from the time you leave until you all return home safely from your trip.

If any of the group require any equipment, ie recovery gear, winch, shovels, tools, gerry cans, toilet, Heavy Duty R&R Bead-breaker & Tyre Refitting Tool, anything. please ask and i will gladly lend it to you for your trip.

I have a spare Tigerz11 winch sitting at home ready to be used.

PS, I am here to help you all have a great trip to the Cape and back home!

Hey guys, I just joined the forum & originally posted a cape york query about others travelling in August. Cool photos posted from the 80's I see, my old man has a few from our stay up there 79-84 while he was a teacher/principal. Keen to see what the Wilburys final iteneration will be for the trip, hopefully we can catch up on the way

Hi Jas,
Must have missed your earlier post while I was replying to moseyroc. Yeap I'm around tomorrow, call anytime but leave a msg if I don't answer as I have a couple of conference calls.
Time is getting closer and just over four weeks to go before we head off, trying to get into wind down mode but work keeps interrupting. Catch you tomorrow.

G'day RLI,
Josh's dad here. really bad news about your health issues.

Josh is going great guns with prep. hardest decisions what to take/what to leave! apart from what we think we need (or might need) and what "toys" do we take? decisions, decisions, decisions. might need a trailer just for the 'stuff' - just joking - almost. we are both really looking forward to the end of July and catching up with others in port douglas and getting started.
