RLI's Cape York travelling Wilburys tour August 2013!
G'day Trendsetters!
I am planning to head back to Cape York in August 2013. My family and friends and I had a ball on our last trip June/July 2011. This was my third trip and first with my family.
August 2013 is an open invitation to any of the forum members and their families to tag-a-long! If any of you are interested keep me informed!!!!!!
Over the days,weeks and months to come, i will post up various ideas, opinions, options and various travel plans. Keep tuned!
PS, travel clock in now ticking 8 months and counting!!!!! Yehaa baby!

Im up for this, certainly keen for my first cape trip . You can just meet me on the way through and I will continue on with whoever is in the convoy by then. Pencil it in.

I loved my trip there in 2010, looking forward to going again with some family and friends, BUT
it's a shame about how much rubbish is left lying around the place

I have been thinking about making a trip up to the cape next year, only done it on my motorbike before and loved every minute of it
Will definitely be watching this thread closely, I am very keen to get up there

Went in '83 a bit more"rustic" then , but if all goes to plan hope to be up the tip again late Aug early Sept 2013

Hey RLI. I was planning a trip up in the next 18 months so could be in. In fact most likely to be there. Interested in routes because I've got twin babies who'll be about 10 months old then. Depending on how hard-core you're going will play a part. That said already taken them on some medium level tracks and had no issues. I'll be pulling a new camper then too!

You are so right mate! We witnessed the same thing on our 2011 trip! I can see why they will restrict the number of people travelling the Telegraph Track in the future due to laziness and stupidity of certain dick-brains out there!
