    GQ Sedan Rear drum break Bleeder nipple SNAP!

    Hey All,

    i have owned my GQ patrol for 3 weeks now and i am slowly making my way around the vehicle and learning new things,

    I was looking around on the rear end and i noticed that the 2 bleeder nipples on the Drum brakes have been snapped off leaving thread in there.

    how do i go about removing the existing thread or are you able to replace the part that it snapped off into?

    any help would be great as i have tried my search on google and on here and havnt had much luck.

    Thanks,
    Foo

    I reckon you'd get it out with an ezyout. You drill into it the using an ezyout you can undo it. Spray with wd40 a few days ahead to help get them out
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    very worst case senario is you have to drill out 98% of it and then retap the thread but even that wouldnt be hard.
    you can get the new bleeders and take them somewhere like coventrys fastners and get a tap for that thread in now time
