    TD42T oil pressure sensor

    hey guys ive got a gu with a 4.2td previous owner has stripped the thread were the oil pressure sender screws to the oil filter housing. ive cleaned the thread as best as possible and tried to loctite 567 & 577, but it still weaps, i have also tried to use rtv it held for a little while but failed in the end.
    can any body elese suggest somthing im not to keen on replacing the oil filter housing just yet as im strapped for cash

    thought about a heli coil not to sure if it will work with oil pressure

    Maybe best to talk to a mechanic, ask for quote and he may tell you what’s needed. I find the ARB staff to be very helpful here in Shepparton.
