Thanks for the feedback. I have thought about that, but I may gust do a simple magnet setup to hold it open.

Mate get some marine carpet and turf glue and cover them. It really finished the job off and it is easy to do.
If i can do it any one can, you get that warm feeling from the carpet and it looks great.

What about hinging them the other way, so when you go 4x4ing and if by chance you get stuck, you can access your recovery items from the outside of your 4x4.
Just remember to un click your sliding window first

I'm guessing threw on of many of the hold down points in the rear. There an M6 bolt and if you use a counter sunk bolt then it will be flush ontop, slowing draws to pass over it..
You can also use the rear seat belt bolts..

@ Rusty give him a PM ,maybe he used a Rivnut tool which is great for inserting a captive nut up to M10 into sheetmetal
Best of all its neat as and strong
