I have done a few Rb30et conversions and if you look around it can be done for around $1000 and some dirty hands.

Dont waste time with RB25 head use the RB26 head.
smallish twin turbos for quicker spooling.
many performance work shops doing that conversion to AU released skylines.
and you will be worrying about the gear box spitting the dummy next !!. lol.
remember the RB30 box is weaker than 4.2 boxes.
your box is out of 300zx.

brand new blank head around $1200.
2nd/h with cams $1000 + depending on condition and porting etc.
    IF IT'S NOT A NISSAN.
    THEN IT'S A COMPROMISE

Rb25det is virtually a bolt in conversion, if you have a little mechanical knowledge you can do the conversion yourself for about $2500-2800, it's not hard.
Power potential from the rb25 is awesome.

I am looking at doing this conversion myself I know it will bolt in but what wiring is involved? What needs to b done in reg to the fuel system? What extra costs are there apart from engine and labour costs, anything extra? Also where did your source your engine and ecu from and how much?
    Cheers in advance
