I beg to differ from the article that most people will quit before they reach the cars offroad ability they have obviously not met the people from this forum. Even if o had that cash id still not buy one I'd rather spend it on a gu and put big shiny bells whistles and fruit on it

85k for a Patrol. Are they kidding themselves or what. If i had 85k to blow on a car, it certainly would NOT be a Patrol.

Well I agree most people that buy it probably won't either. Who would buy a 4wd Independant suspension vehicle for real 4wding anyway. I don't reckon 99% will actually get off the road onto a dirt driveway let alone a real 4wd track.
Patrol is dead!! Long live the GQ and GU

    Double Tap

yea if you did want on for offroad they will opt for the old model as they are selling it along side it

    i also like this line,
"Nissan Australia managing director Bill Peffer says cumulative Patrol sales in Australia will top 100,000 next year, helped by the 14-year-old Y61. .....
    i read that as 80% y61 and 20% 6gen

the new 6gen weights the same as my gu but i have a bullbar winch brushbar/sliders steel rear bar and cargo barrier full size roof rack... wait till ppl put that all on one of these wow

It looks like a cruiser I like barn doors and my spare on them rather than underneath. I watched video they do a great job on the sand with that sweet motor but it needs a diesel model and I saw one doing a gully the front does not flex at all lifting wheels everywhere and dragging its big saggy arse everywhere
