Spent the March long weekend camping here, and 4x4 track access all day Saturday. 3 Patrols, 1 Landcruiser.
There are a few 'learner' tracks before you get to the main tracks - so any people who are new to 4x4 driving can have a go on them first.
Then you can through into where the main tracks are .... such a great variety of man-mad tracks to challenge even the most daring!
We had a go at water crossings, steep hills/ditches, tracks with tyres to drive over and undulating tracks too. The tracks are very well laid out, so you can opt which ones to drive through, and it's just a couple of minutes from the camping area, to which you can return at any point!

So plenty to challenge us, and we had a great fun. The water crossing was attempted by 3 vehicles - 2 made it across eventually, although 1 didn't make it across, and decided to reverse out unassisted.
The track with hidden tyres caused a little damage to our Patrol, after we went over a wide tractor tyre and dropped into a ditch on the other side, which caught on the front mudguard, causing a couple of plastic clips to break on the front wheel arch protector. We removed it to be safe - but looks like we should be able to replace the clips pretty easily
There was one ditch with some thick silty mud, which caused a bit of ineffectiveness of our brakes on the way home, but after a few dollars at the carwash, it seems ok now.
Also the mud caused some heat issues for the land cruiser - so possibly worth giving it a wash straight after going in the mud.

I would certainly recommend this for any 4x4 enthusiast - there's something for everyone

$30 per day for tracks and $8 per person per night to camp, with clean flushing toilets, hot showers, fire pits & some shelters.

Always a good idea to hit the car wash ASAP after any muddy outing
and dont forget to clean all your gead lights and tail lights with some clean water as well as your Number plate
Boys in Blue love muddy 4x4s
Sounds like a good place to go with controlled driving options
But need pics or it never happened
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

This is where we did a bit of damage ... oops :P
    P1000658.jpg
see our front tyre is stuck inside the tractor tyre - but the bit ditch in front cause some damage to the plastic clips for the mudguard and wheel-arch protector thingy.
