sounds like a problem 2 of my gq's have. the lower shock mounts have seats the rubbers sit on, if they have become dislodged the shock pin rubs on the shock mount and makes for a very annoying drive. Removal of botom shock bolt will tell you if this is the problem. If so get on to it before the shock mount tares and spring falls out while 3 wheeling not a good look. this did happen.....
