The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I think all patrols use consult but just different versions

    Model: all CRD Patrols
Diagnostics: Consult III which includes CAN bus(OBD2)

I think they use OBDII as well, I know some Patrols have the ODBII Plug but use the consult software

Where are these plugs located? Are they on short 'flting leads under the dash or somewhere else? I have a 07 GQ, was a 2.8 TD before chev conversion. I want to configure a trip computer for fuel usage and might be able to use the data ports for this.

I believe they were both up under the dash near the steering column

All Nissan vehicles use consult software. Just different versions and different plugs.

The CRD is 16pin DLC connector which most OBD2 compliant vehicles use

    Hopefully someone can confirm this
