    new airbox

new airbox to go in soon.. need a few bends and a reducer to reduce the airbox outlet at the top 3.5" to 2.75" inch on the turbo pipe on my 1996 2.8ltr gq test fitted it today.. pits perfect apart from the fact that the aircon hose/pipe seems to end up right in front of the outlet pipe on the top of my air box.. any ideas about what i could do??

I'm not saying this is the right thing to do but I just bent mine under with careful hand bending so it doesn't crimp the pipe.

Better way would be to visit someone like natrad and reroute it properly.

Mate, can you put up a photo of how the hose is fouling the air box,

ahh i see.. u have a high mount turbo.. much better position.. my turbo is under my intake manifold on the 2.8 and all is on the same side.. .. i will manage but is it a problem if the a/c pipe and intake pipe touch?
