welded up the exhaust bracket and the cracks it caused in the muffler, fitted some roadworthy tyres to it and made up a drop bracket to get the nut in far enough to pick up on the spare wheel mount.

stripping it down for paint ...
had to remove boxes, guards, lights, fuel filler etc etc so i could lift the tray to clear ...
sat the tray on drums and drove it out so i could get at the rear of the cab to sand it down ...
11 pm, Just finished up for the night,
used 6 charges of the Dewalts battery's and a caramel wheel to strip the stripes and stickers off it tonight ... in between rain showers
neighbors are getting some of their own back

I spotted a bit of rust in the lower corner of the windscreen and since the windscreen needed to be replaced anyway ... I ripped the windscreen out to treat and fix the rust.
of course it started to rain so i had to chuck my tarp over it but its a bit low for working on ...
the offending corner
there was a bit on the other side as well

Got sick of the tarp hitting me and there was not enough room to paint the roof so i did what any self respecting bogan would do ...
built myself a shed
tarp was very tatty so i had to roll the edge and screw it to the guttering , whack a few eyebolts in the fence and use half a roll of 100 mile an hour tape to block up all the holes
All this rain doesn't help with the lake on the ground though
its now in undercoat but thats as far as i could get.
painted the windscreen recess then got the hoodlining glued back in to the edge at the top.
will paint it when the weather clears but not being a painter i hear its not good to paint in high humidity?
gunna be humid for a while i think
