    Hey Rick if you need one for 6 months then i'd be chasing to buy one outright mate! Buy a good second hand one and put it on a contract for six months. When you are done then decide what you will do with it. You might be so happy with it that you keep it or put it back up for sale like the guy you bought it off and probably get almost all you money back

    That is what i would do although i'd be pretty keen to own one for keeps though.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    When I got mine it cost a lot more than this

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Motorola-...item2a217cc20e

    Had a wheel bearing fail in the middle of nowhere near Halls Creek, it was worth every cent.

    Especially when this real creepy guy (John Jarret of Wolfe Creek type creepy) stopped to "help".
    We made sure he knew we had a sat phone and help was on its way!!!
    Hadn't seen the movie at that stage, bloody glad we hadn't as well!!!!!

    Good luck with your trip,
    Cheers Macca

    If you use it once, it's worth the money. My old man is an interstate truck driver, he's had one for years and he said the one time he had to use it, it paid for itself.
