Hi Guys, i recently put a new radio in my Patrol and couldn't find a wiring diagram anywhere so i decided to make one so if anyone needs it is redily available to you! So here it is:
Just a sugestion i installed a new radio in my Ti and i used a DNA plug and play harness, just to note there are 4 different types for Nissan's so ask to try before you buy and most new head units plug streight in to these! Saves alot of time and soldier. also you will need to get an (aerpro) arial adapter, i bought 1 from autobarn and modified it to use both arials the front electric and the one on the passenger rear fixed window. Thank you for the wiring diagram, Funny thing last night when I installed my new double din unit, the power plug with the 3 wires power,ignition,illumination was taped back and not even used? And there was 3 wires on the larger plug that weren't used for the install....
When I put my new head deck in 2 weeks ago, they sold me the wrong the adapters (Nissan to ISO, ISO to Sony AV) and this diagram was a lifesaver because all the others I found had different colored wiring to my 98 GU ST.
