Product Recall
Just a further note from the Aldi torque wrench thread
With thanks to Qld Nissan Patrol Club:
Recall on the snatch straps that were in the Aldi recovery kits that came out in May with a batch number of 7743 they were not up to the Qld standards with the labeling that is needed on them.
As copied in part of original forum thread from the formentioned club with thanks to host and author.

Yeah, As I understand there was nothing wrong with the strap itself and only the labeling. Qld standards must be a bit more tougher then the rest of us.

Yeah thats all it was & not all states jumped on board as rules are different from state to state on labeling & safety warnings.

Got onto the supply co. and all that was needed was for them to send out safety instructions and a very industrail sticker label to be placed on strap with instructions on where and how to fit it.
It has arrived by mail free of course, and instuction how to use and safety guide is very clear and appropiate.
