Elastic net for tall items in door

In the 98 kitten of a troll, there is an elastic net to help hold tall items (eg documents). After what you might say has either been a hard or good life, the elastic stops... being elastic.

Has anyone been able to procure a genuine part or come up with an equally agreeable measure?

Do what the rest of us do - - - cut it off. It is useless.

I just unscrewed the clip from one end and chopped a piece off the netting and put it back. It has lost a fair bit of elasticity, but it looks tidy. If it gets slack again, I'll chop a bit more off. Or maybe just ditch it next time.
