Old man emu All the way. it does cost slightly more but its well worth it in the long run. I have OME on both my patrols and cant fault them both have done in excess of 100k with no dramas.

I got Dobinson springs and koni shocks. Talk to " Zordo Suspension" I got mine delivered from bris to syd cheaper than I could get in sydney and he seems fair dinkum

Not trying to be smug, but you will usually get what you pay for. Had both Dobinson & OME on my 4.2 wagon for touring. For a 50mm lift both good but OME better for me - more expensive than Dobinson but available throughout Oz if I need replacements or service, better quality than Dobinson IMHO.

G'Day Macca, i Have a 2004 GU111 4.2 and also in the market for aftermarket suspension, have done some research and i'm going with OME as they are everywhere, and if needed replaced very easily,

I got a Quote for $ 1400 Supplied & Fitted and includes steering dampner as well,

Well worth it for that price i reckon,

    Cheers Tonks.

Mine is a 2006 with alloy bar, duel battery. I went with EFS 70kg front springs and 100kg rear springs (all 2" lift), EFS Elite shocks, EFS Extreme steering dampner, caster correction bushes and air bags. All fitted for about $2100 including wheel alignment. I'm really happy with the set up. Along with the brand ensure that you spring weights are for what you would usually carry and not just once a year. Anything oversprung will decrease your happiness.

John from Zordo's is great. Excellent knowledge and heaps of different brands to choose from and advice on which one will suite you. Asks all the right questions about your needs. Couldn't recommend him enough.

I have a 50mm Kit of springs and shocks from Zordo's: Ironman FoamCell Constant load. Love them.
