    RHR barn door check strap mount broken??

    Hi guys,

    I have just relised the my right hand rear barn door check strap mount is broken or loose, on my gu 98, I have had a quick look at it, but can't see any bolts or even a way to resecure it??

    Does anyone had this problem and I do they know if it's tac welded on?

    If it's come away at the pillar side, you need to remove the tail light to gain access and drill and bolt it back into position.
    Bit of a pain job!!

    Do you know anyone who works in a fab or panel shop?

    If you do get them to throw a couple of nutserts in it. It then only requires working from the outside and a little bit of rustproofing.
