Can anyone tell me the drain and refill capacity of a 99 td42t auto box ?? I belive its a re403 tranny ...

Hi Joe

Your intro says 2001 Safari, so is it a 2001 or 1999? Not sure if there is any difference in capacity between models but better 2 know the exact model before doing a search

Forgot 2 mention you should find your model of transmission on the data plate which should be located on the firewall

Hi Todd I thought it was 2001 when I first got it last week but on further investigation it is a 99 apologies ... I was given duff info when I got it ... I will check plate shortly and post :-) thanks for your help

Hi Todd it's a RE4R03A transmission
