Just be aware of your rear spring towers if you get air bags, they are a weak point when extra stress is placed on them.
Better to try to lessen the load on the tow hitch.

Thanks for that, I think it's a lot better now with a bit of reshuffling. It is towing unexpectedly very well. I can only feel the weight on the back but I don't even feel like there is anything on the back. Steering and brakes seem to be working great as well. We'll give it another couple of stretches of road to decide. Cheers
