Oil cooler leak Patrol GU 4.5 Petrol

    Hi all.

I've had this leak for 6 months and it's getting on my nerves.

Oil cooler is leaking a bit of oil.

    I've taken it 0ff 2 times, I couldn't see any cracks.

First time I've only replaced the gasket,I made my own gasket from paper (oil paper from superchape auto)

    still the same.

Than I've taken it off and replaced that rubber seal that's inside and still the same?

I am thinking maybe the gasket paper needs to be thicker , I am not sure.

    Please help

Hey mate, take it from a person who used to use the corn flake plastic inside the cereal boxes for gaskets, go get the proper gasket for the cover and see how that goes. Ive been down this path before making my own gaskets and sometimes they just don't work compared to a proper die cut gasket from Nissan.
