Gorge Weir/ Blue Valley on Burdekin River

does anyone from up here go out to gorge weir at all? i love it went there today for second time in my ute been up heaps with the old man. after following about 100km of bitumen up the river from the highway you hit a gate and lock the hubs in and get ready for 20km of what i think is the knarliest 4x4 tracks in the region. i don't have to many pics but we going back in two weeks and Will get plenty

now its hard to see the steepness here but pretty much the top to the tree line is where the flat ground is on the other side of the creek. and yeah Thats our mate quite stuck today Haha. i think it was that front passenger tyre that couldn't get traction and no diff locks
