Rd28 gq aneroid on td42 ve pump will it fit
The the gq rd28 i just bought has the fuel pump with the aneroid.
And i have a td42 pump spare that had a leaking shaft seal .
I had this bright idea swap the tops over
Does anyone know if they fit and work or do i have to be the guinea pig.

Will be different and you dont want an aneroid on it anyway. Do you have a part no. I have a workshop manual on a bosch ve pump so can check that out if see if aligns for you

A mate just done similar thing to his td42t but used the internals from a !!!! Toyota pump
N holy dooly even towing 3 ton van it hauls ass n has torque all the way through the rev range now
Aneroid or boost pump makes massive difference.

Yeah had other things come up and have forgotten all about this .
I am not a fan of pre boost smoke.
So i want the aneroid setup as when i turn the fuel up i get plenty of pre boost smoke yet nothing once the boost is up.
Figure this will give me what i want if i can make it work.

the aneroid wont change the performance but if it has "toyota" internals in it then it has had a larger plunger fitted which in turn gives you the arse hauling.
