Fletcha's Rear Bar Build with Tyre Carrier
Well seeing as its winter and to be honest im sometimes bored lol , i have started building a rear Bar for the troll.. I will be making an All steel bar with a Swing away Tyre carrier as i am wanting to fir 35's and dont want the weight of the tyre on the back door.
Mounted behind the tyre will be my High Lift Jack, i will be using recessed LED Tail lights and possibly trying to Flush mount some LED Worklights into the bar as well for reverse lights..
Will keep thread updated as build continues.
So far for today i have removed the old rear plastic bar, made the Brackets that will hold the Bar to the Chassis Rail and bought the steel ready to be welded together..
More Pics to come along soon

I am watching with interest. What size steel are you going to use for the bumber? and is it going to be RSH (looks like it) or channel?

So far chassis mounts are 6mm 100x100 Angle, I am using 150x50 RHS in 3mm for the main bar, I was wanting 4mm but couldn't find anywhere in town that had it.. Therefore I will add some extra bracing so will be ok..
For the swing away I will be using a stub axle assy which I will get from this mob including the latch

Got all the brackets Drilled and made today, and tacked the main bar to them.. To anyone making a rear bar make sure the brackets and main bar are spot on as this will affect the rest of the build with gaps being different and measurements wrong..
Just Have to wait till Sunday to use my mates MIG to make sure the welds are spot on. How it looks at the moment.. Bar Will sit exactly in the photo's and should def help to improve departure angles
