To be fair the people who designed/built the ute are not the people who made the ad

Enjoying the trips
Like ads with utes running around a worksite towing a backhoe, falling over cliffs, filling the back full of coconuts or screaming through salt water. The list goes on and yeah take it with a pinch of salt as its never going to be real.
This shows a total lack of knowledge by the arts department, but who signed off on it?
A positive could be a fuss made over it, A Current Affair or whoever bring it to everyones attention. Then the safety message gets spread the ad pulled and Colarado all over the media. Win Win all round.

Yeah, your right. Falling off a cliff etc is quite obvious to the viewer that it's just a bit of a laugh but towing heavy loads from a towball makes people think that's what it's there for..... Chances are slim that your gonna roll your Ute off a cliff because you saw it on tv lol BUT chances are high that people will find themselves on a work site with a big load to pull and a towball on their Colorado and the add will spring to mind.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Hi. Thanks guys for confirming for me what I thought I saw! I have always been aware of the issue with tow ball recoveries thanks to a 4x4 introduction by someone years ago who passed on the dangers of that practice to me. This forum has certainly made it foremost in my mind if and when I need to snatch again. I saw the ad out the corner of my eye and had been waiting to see it again to confirm what I thought I saw. Very concerning.

For a start, If you drove anything on a building site at that speed you would be shown the door.

I just left this comment on the youtube video, I wonder if it gets approved *L*
This ad should be taken off air, no one should ever attach anything 2 the tow ball for snatching.
WARNING: USING A SNATCH STRAP ON ANY TOW BALL CAN KILL PEOPLE!!!
Who ever signed off on this ad to be aired is a bloody moron.
Time is never wasted when your wasted all the time
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
