Fly fishing far north qld.

Does anybody here fly fish up in queensland? I'm interested in trying it, but i have absolutely no idea where to begin.

beginner only, in the SE corner, so not much info I can pass on. It is a lot of fun when conditions are right, and effective too.

There are a couple of stores down here that cater pretty well to salt water fly fishers, and a couple of fishing fora with fly fishing sections eg Ausfish; although I haven't been to Ausfish for ages so not sure what its like now.

Was looking at ausfish, but you need to pay 10 bucks just to be able to post. Not likely! Haha.

ring one of the fishing shops. I haven't heard of any fly fishing up here but i am a novice fisherman.
