I wired mine to come on via either front or rear switch or reverse lights if front lights are on.

Im looking at doing this exact same thing. Found the brackets on ebay for over $100 but will make my own!

Nice job, ditto with nakkers drill small hole and put a rubber grommet to suit. A lot of lumens for 15 watts

Hi all, In regard to the live switch in the dash, this can/will come round to bite you if a copper comes up behind you and you light him up. I think it's against the law or not exactly legal to have the swithch mounted close to driver. A tricky three way switch connected through the reverse light circuit will save a fine.

did you just weld the bracket to the side of the spare wheel holder?

Cbates, on the GU Patrols, you have to get a extension bracket fitted between the door skin & the spare wheel bracket to fit 33's on, so that extension bracket has holes pre drilled in it. So bolted the pole onto the extension bracket
