2010 crd egr block
read heaps about this subject - just want to know if anyone has had any probs doing this. have read that just drop the plate in and everything will be fine. the turbo boost pressure is sorted by the cpu so you dont need a dawes needle valve fitted. also does the warning light come on in the dashboard with the later model 3.0 crd engines

You don't need a Dawes, you may need to tweak the VNT adjustment.
Yes, you will get random "check engine light" but a fault reader such as a Scangauge will sort that out with the press of a cople of buttons
In any event I highly recomend you get yourself a Scangauge or similar with the CRD engine... I love mine to bits, best money spent on the truck ('cept for maybe the EGT)
