Snorkel choices for 4.8 Petty

Im about to purchase a snorkel for my 02 4.8 patrol and am undecided on which brand to go. Its a race between the Safari and Airtec but I have also had the Ironman recommended to me. Does anyone have a pic of any of these snorkels fitted to their actual vehicle? A good search brings up generic pictures which is annoying. The main thing I am worried about is how water tight they are in the joins.

Hey mate, have a search for Guzzle Guts under members rides, there should be a pic of the safari snorkel on my 2003 4.8. Mine has been pretty good except for when I first went through some deep water and it got a tiny bit of water in the air box. However this was due to the installers doing a dodgy job where the pipe in the engine bay goes through the wall. I sealed this up properly and it been ok since. There's also a drain valve or whatever you call it under the air filter box that some people block up with a golf ball and sensor safe sealer, but I haven't bothered. I would think it would suck shut anyway. Other than that no dramas with the safari snorkel.

Just making you aware of www.tigerz11.com in Kilsyth Melbourne. They have snorkels at half the price. I am not connected with same, just letting you know and you can make your own mind up.
