Hi Auzzy 1 here changing RB 30E motor for a TB42
Need some info changing the 3.0 litre petrol for a petrol TB 4.2 engine got the motor out today looking at the TB42 it looks huge and my old eye sight says it is too big to go in the engine bay gear box and transmission has a riser mounted gear selectors (on the floor) does all this fit in ok what additional problems will I come across taking the small gearbox and transmission out tomorrow
1 Bell housing on the TB42 looks too big for the engine bay
2 Gearbox /Transmission must weigh a ton what suspension changes are needed to carry it (springs, shockies )
3 what electrics does it require to run the TB42 same or different ?
4 Engine mounts the same or different?
5 Universals fit the 3.0 litre diffs OK is it a straight bolt up?
