Bush camping
Hay gang.
Thinking of taking the kids away for a week in july. Am thinking bush over beach. Did beach last couple times. I live in Brisbane and am not bothered by a couple hours drive to get to a good location, preferably with the hubs locked. ;-)
any or all ideas welcome.

RIP - valued member and true gentleman of this forum that will be missed by many!
I haven't been there, but the crowd went to The Springs near Warwick, and all came back very impressed, it seems. There is a thread about it somewhere. Might be worth checking with the parks in case they have a comp on - although depending on what you want, that could be a good thing?

The springs 4x4 park is excellent as is janowen hills 4x4 park both top spots for camping and 4wding. Neurum creek, imbil, kenilworth heaps of bush places if you havent already try and grab a copy of "dirty weekends in southeast qld" they have some good trips in there

Thanks Newby
Yeah I own "Dirty Weekends", thinking Neurum Creek is the choice. Has anyone towed a trailer into that camp ground, DERM says not recomended however "Dirty Weekends" says it ok.
cheers
