    Clutch to suit TD42

Hi all time to pick your brains regarding a new clutch for in my truck,

I am about to swap my gearbox with one from a TB42 Maverick now I know that I will need to swap my bell housing off my gearbox on the TD42 but my question is are the clutches the same between the TB42 and the TD42,

I am looking at the Exedy safari Tuff clutch to replace mine and need to know if I order one for a TD42 will it fit in with the different gearbox.

All help, theories and advice on my choice of clutch would also be appreciated,

    Thanks

    Mark

I was told the safari clutch was 2 heavy on the pedal unless your car has the clutch booster.
I went with the exedy heavy duty behind a td42 turboed no clutch booster myself as advised and so far so good even towing an extra heavy load up steep hills without a problem.

I have the Exedy tuff and I don't think I have a booster. It's not my daily driver and I was told if it is your daily than you should go for Exedy heavy duty but I find the Tuff Clutch fine to drive around town. I absolutely love it for heavy loads and the camper....

Same gearbox, yes it will fit. Even the TB42 and TD42 engine blocks are almost identical.
I love terra firma - the less firma the more terra
