    Changing door hinges

    Hi everyone

Wondering if anyone knows how to change the door hinge on a 1999 Gu?

I am assuming I need to remove the guards and top panel .

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Hey Paula and Mark, Welcome to the forum, I'd appreciate it if you could head over to the intro section and post up an Intro, we like folks to say g'day before asking questions and it would be appreciated.

    Cheers MR

hey guys welcome to the site.if you just remove the inner guard the plastic bit inside the guard you can get the door hinge bolts.dont take both off at once.do one at a time and you wont have a problem.dont forget to reseal around the new hinges to stop any water from entering the pillar.there is always the option of taking the door off first and change the hinges that way but be careful as the doors very heavy and come down real hard and fast so watch out for ya toes
