    Molly Diesel Purge

Hey Mates, I own two diesel cars:
    1) is my 1991 Patrol Y60 td42 Non-turbo shorty

the other is a Mercedes-Benz 240D. The nissan is back in my home country. Here in USA i have the Mercedes. I have purchased and performed a "diesel Purge" and I am wondering if any of you guys have done this procedure on their PATROL Diesel. I cannot find info on the internet for Patrol, just Mercedes

Here is a link to this being done on a MB on Youtube

I noticed he didnt change the filter before performing this so any dirt build up or anything that the filter has caught could change the colour of the fluid. I would have changed the filter first then performed the "purge". Thats the first time i have seen something like that hopefully someone can share some input if they have done it.

I have done it on my own Diesel 240D. What happens in a Mercedes (I do not know for sure on a Nissan Diesel) is that it has two filters (the small one then the Large screw on type) "unused Diesel fuel supposedly gets recycled back into the fuel tank (hence being filtered through the return hose via the Big screw on filter) what you do is that you pour the entire contents of the molly into a plastic bottle and the car runs solely on that "fuel" and that same fuel gets recycled through both filters at the end of the purge.....u swap in new filters

these are two stores that sell them here in US (with photo instructions):

these treatment really does clean ur fuel injectors and fuel pump! I just wonder if anyone has ever used this on a Nissan Patrol???

This guy does it on a LandCruiser Diesel (youtube video) before and after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwCUEjR8ysI

Reportedly been used very successfully on a few Safaris here in Canada.

Well, I just bought some, after reading this. $15 ,so if it dont work - maah.
Anyone know which hoses to pull off the td42? There are 2 hoses connected to one banjo fitting on top of the pump, and one below the pump. Any suggestions?
I'll post up an opinion after I do it. My engine is very "vibraty" and sure lacks power. So any improvement should be easily seen/felt

PS, my engine is over 4 million years old, so I'm sure a few dinosaur bones will fall out the zorst afterwards
