GIO Vs AAMI ??

After lots of research i have eliminated by insurance options down to GIO and AAMI.

They are extremely similar with GIO giving me slightly better agreed value and being slightly cheaper.

i have read both their policies and they are equally vague.

So my question is...Who has made a claim with one of these 2 companies?

How did it go?
did they look at your lift and tyres?
did they know of all your modifications?
If you needed repairs were they helpful in letting you choose your own repairer?

I am at the stage where i don't mind which company i go with but i want peace of mind that if i ever needed them, i could rely on them.
