Thanks ,
The 2nd last pic is after getting both trucks out of quicksand. I was following to close i supose, he went down and I had no time to avoid it.
My front toe hook was touching the sand but the back was in to the bottom of the rim.Mate had 4 plastic ramp things so we managed to get them
in under my tyres and I managed to reverse out then winched him out but it was prity scarey there for a while.

It's an awesome place for sure. Have been on a few trips but only as a passenger. Hey trolatron, how was greens creek? Have you seen the video of greens creek crossing last time I went down? It was sunny as on the way in then turned to hell on the way out!
Unreal scenery. How far down did you go?

G'day mate, I'm not sure which one is greens creek but we drove all the river crossings without any trouble, bit trickier on the way out but all good.
We went down to the Interview River.I want to get back down there soon as the parks boys are closing the tracks below sandy cape at the end of june.
I havn't seen the youtube clip can you put up a link to it..

Greens creek is the pretty much the first beach creek you get to. It would have been ankle deep. Cant post a link as I'm on tappa talk atm. Youll be able to find the video if you click on videos up the top of the screen (in red)

Man that's scarey stuff in that video. I heard 3 vehicles got swamped in there last weekend.

Yeah the west coast gets wild! Like I said, the day we drove in it was just like in your photos, sunny and clear. Then rained for two days....
We had to pull a swb cruiser out of that creek before we could cross!
The interview river was insane! I didn't film any of that as I was too scared. I was actually shaking when we crossed!! There was white water smashing across the bonnet sideways!
It is wild down there!
