superior superflex arms

looking at buying a 3in superior kit and im leaning towards superflex arms over drop boxes but just wanted to know what people think of them?

I have supflex arms, and I like them, I get good responce out of the front end and extra travel to boot.
I would aslo fit the longest shocks available for the lift if you are going to spend the money on the flex arms you might aswell put a shock in that will stretch them out a bit

If you dont mind spending the cash make your own kit. you will not be dissapointed.
I made my own superior kit, couldnt be happier with the way it performs off road, I have quite a bit of flex, and I could get heaps more out of it.

IMO get
superflex arms
adjustable panhards
adjustable upper control arms
long arm kit ( requires cutting and welding)
Chromoly steering arms

I have these on mine, its expensive but I reckon I got what I paid for.
If you get these parts you will need to get your shock lenths sorted, make new shock hoops, or (what I have done) lower your bump stops. so you can fit larger shocks in.

Remote reservoir shocks would be the go up front to make the most out of it. Same with the rear. I have a ute and going to incorporate rear upper shock mounts into a tube coil brace so i can some nice long ones in there. And if your after flex grab some 3" flexy coils.

i wanna keep this one fairly drivable as it is going to be my daily driver / tow car / touring car thats why i was looking at just buying a kit do you no what the longest shock you can run without doing hoops or extending the towers?

I've got the super flex arms on my Patrol with Bilstein remote reservoirs and as mentioned you get some pretty good flex out of it. Unless your building a comp truck then these along with some longer shocks will be fine. Also make sure your bump stops are adjusted to suit. The last thing you want to do is compress hard and stuff your new shocks.

the purpose of the gq is to tow my comp truck so i wont be going over board with this one... for now!! what length are the shocks in yours now? what bump stops are you using?

A kit would be the go then. Just standard coils and in the kits they will supply you with the correct shocks for it. If its just gonna be a tow rig grab some drop boxes and sway bars to suit and she will be fine. If your looking at going a little more wild in the future then then flexy coils and flex arm will do fine you will just have to run sway bars on the old girl then its just a matter of disconnecting them when you go out for a play.
