I'm from Mackay in Qld. Bought a '92 patrol a while ago but haven't had her on the road as yet because I'm tinkering around giving the old girl a bit of a spruce up before putting her into service as a weekend off roader and boat tug. I also have an '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I've had since '04 but I'm not allowed to take her off road anymore because the wife uses it as her daily and has claimed it as her "baby" - hence the Patrol! Also used to have- if I'm allowed to mention it here - a Toyota Hilux many moons ago that the family and I had a lot af great fun in over the years we owned it camping and doing some great offroad trips.

The Jeep's never really given any trouble in the time we've had her (must be one of the lucky ones, aye!) so I'm finding the wealth of info available from forums like this one absolutely fantastic in my tinkering endeavours.
