    Provent 200 kit of ebay

    hey guys was hoping to get some idea whether or not the provent kit is worth the $300??

    The unit itself is $170 has any one bought the hoise and clamps seperatly? and how much did it come to?

    Not $130 regardless!!! Simple enough to hook up mate, just buy the Provent.

    I sourced the fittings/hoses/clamp/ all separate, just make sure you'll get oil/fuel resistant type hoses and not your garden water type variety otherwise you'll be replacing them soon again.

    What's the best place to get these oil/fuel resistant hoses, can this all be sourced from Bunnings or the like, or an auto/pipes fittings shop?

    Nah i doubt Bunnings will help you this time. Repco, AutoBarn, Super cheap, Bursons or go to the hose blokes, Pirtek etc.

    True, not cheap Roofy but the OP has $130 difference in price so he will probably use 1.5m of the stuff at $15 per Metre. So a Bargain by comparison.

    true again,its silicone tube they send in the kit thats why its so dear
    a box of hose clamps as well

    I went to Clark Rubber and for 1.5m of the stuff for $9
