help!!! welsh plugs on 3lt diesel motor
I have a 2003 3lt turbo diesel which is slow-leaking coolant.
My local Nissan dealer reckoned it needed a thermostat housing kit but when he had a closer look after removing the alternator, found it was leaking from the front end of the motor.
Can anyone confirm if that motor has a welsh plug located near the crankshaft?????
I hope its as simple as that.
Also, if anyone has had a similar problem can you give me a rough idea as to how mch $$$ I can expect to shell out?????
Thanks guys,
Mike

Patrol God
Its not coming out of the tell tale of the waterpump is it? Could be as simple as that. Usually welsh plugs will run down the sides of the block if they have any.

2003 shouldnt have the water cooled turbo, but there is a sender at top of the engine at the front. Also drivers side down low is the oil cooler. Couple of places to try.
